Governor Josh Shapiro and GSK leadership announced the global biopharma company’s major investment of up to $800 million in Pennsylvania that will increase its research and development (R&D) and manufacturing footprint at its existing facility in Lancaster County. The Commonwealth is investing $21 million in the Lancaster County project, which will create 200 new, high-paying jobs.
Global-medtech leader B. Braun—whose US headquarters is located in Bethlehem, PA— isinvesting $20 million to expand and modernize its 710,000-square-foot medical-device facility in the Lehigh Valley, securing at least 200 new full-time jobs over the next three years. Pennsylvania is supporting the company's growth with $1.5 million in grants, including funding for workforce training.
