Right now, we are in the GE Vernova facility in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, where we manufacture circuit breakers and instrument transformers.
ROGER MARTELLA (speaking to camera):
This is the critical infrastructure that makes all the nuts and bolts of the grid work together that we're making right here in Charleroi.
JOHN PROFFIT (speaking to camera):
Pennsylvania has a strong manufacturing background for, you know, hundreds of years at this point.
ROGER MARTELLA (speaking to camera):
The reason we doubled down in Pennsylvania is, it's a combination of the amazing workforce, the environment which understands the importance of manufacturing, I call it the Pennsylvania industrial DNA, and the policies that enable us to really accelerate things.
The world needs more electricity, and we're in a growth cycle that we haven't seen since World War II. This is a place that we see as one of the most important areas for us to be investing in this industrial capacity.
LUIS MORALES (speaking to camera):
I just came Pennsylvania for two years, and I am still here for 29 years. I am the example. I made my career and my life here.
IAN WHITEN (speaking to camera):
Our area has just this go-getter attitude. I think everybody is very motivated to meet our customer demand.
LUIS MORALES (speaking to camera):
When we start, we are a small group and take like a week to building one breaker. Today, we can do five, six, seven, 10 breakers per day.
ROGER MARTELLA (speaking to camera):
We're here for decades to come, and we're very proud to help lead the charge in this revitalization, this rejuvenation of these industrial towns in Pennsylvania.
IAN WHITEN (speaking to camera):
I really care about this area. My family's from here. What I would say to someone that's considering moving here or moving to the Pittsburgh area is, "What are you waiting for?"
